Simple Meal Plan for Your 6-Month-Old
At around 6 months old, babies are developmentally ready to begin complementary solid foods as their gut starts producing enzymes needed to digest protein and fat and their jaw muscles begin to strengthen. We provided an easy daily meal plan along with how to safely introduce solids, learn about foods to avoid, provide teething support, early dental care tips, and feeding safety practices to promote healthy growth, digestion, and oral development.

We are offering information about nutrient types and serving sizes, but the meals you prepare for your children do not have to be fancy or in perfect alignment with these recommendations. This is just a guideline, the most important aspect is to do your best to provide as well-rounded meals as possible.
