Every month as your baby grows, they naturally start showing some new development milestones. Here are a few you should be able to observe when they hit the half-year mark

Emotional and Social Milestones

  • They will start recognizing familiar faces and recognize people

  • Self-obsessed much? Yes they will want to look at themselves in the mirror

  • This one is our favorite, they will start laughing. We are sure it's going to make you laugh or smile when you hear their laughter

Communication and Language Milestone

  • Will start taking turns communicating with you when you are talking to them

  • Will start blowing and removing their tongue out

  • Will start making fun squealing sounds or giggles

Cognitive Milestones (learning, thinking, problem-solving)

  • Will start grabbing and putting things in their mouth

  • Grab and start playing with toys

  • Will start closing their mouth, or purse their lips when they are full and don’t want to eat more

Movement/Physical Development Milestones

  • Will behave like a ball, what we mean is they will start rolling from their tummy to their backs all by themselves.

  • All the practice from the last 2 months has made them stronger and now they will successfully do a push-up. They will be able to keep their arms straight and push their body up when they are left on their tummy

  • Will learn to support themselves with their hands when sitting.
