Belisia "Bel" Fernandez is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is a seasoned mother of three children and is passionate about educating families about lactation and all things motherhood. She has worked in clinic settings, in private practice, in hospitals, and works with many community-based organizations to reach families of low-income circumstances such as both homelessness and domestic violence victims who have infants and want to breastfeed. She holds her bachelors degree in Management and Health Admin and continues to further her education to learn more about the ever-changing science of lactation. In her spare time, she enjoys Latin dancing, traveling, and gardening.
